AI based automatic interview platform established by two engineering graduates

Two engineering graduates, Arda Çelebi (CS 2002) and Efe Pazarçeviren (IE 2002) established a startup company that develops an AI-based job interview platform VireUp. The platform analyzes the interview videos of candidates and evaluates the interview performance for employers to make decisions. Additionally, the platform gives feedback to job candidates about their interview performance, strong and weak points.

EEE student team won the first place award in design competition

The B2 Team from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Bilkent University won the the first place award in “Design Competition with XSENS Products 2020” organized by IMCA and XSENS. 5 teams competed in the final stage of the competition. The winners were announced on November 26, 2020.

He said that THY is now developing his own software with more than 800 programmers and engineers. Ali Serdar Yakut is the Deputy Chairman of Turkish Technic, the company that is giving technical support to Turkish Airlines.

Engineering graduates developed bump detector system

Four graduates of Bilkent Faculty of Engineering developed a system called Roan that can detect and find the bumps and dips in the roads. Ali Cagatay Kuru (CS 2017), Baris Kaya (CS 2016), Burak Kantarci (CS 2017) , and Sarp Bilecen (EE 2017) founded a startup company in Ankara called Seyisco, where they developed the system. The system can be used by municipalities. I can be integrated to the bottom of the municipality vehicles and can detect dips and bumps on the roads while the vehicle is traveling.
