5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program Signed
The establishment of a joint graduate support program about 5G and Beyond Technologies is signed between the parties on May 24 2018. The parties include Information and Communication Technologies Authority of TURKEY (BTK), Bilkent University, Middle East Technical University, Hacettepe University, Turk Telecom, Turkcell and Vodafone. The program will support graduate students (M.S. and Ph.D.) that will do research and development in the 5G and Beyond communication and networking technologies, systems and applications.
5G and Beyond Joint Graduate Support Program is run by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority and brings together Bilkent University, Middle East Technical University and Hacettepe University with Turkcell, Türk Telekom and Vodafone companies. The program aims to create the 5G and Beyond ecosystem in Turkey. This scholarship program intends to contribute to the training of qualified human resources to work on 5G and Beyond next generation communication technologies.
Under the program, Turkish national graduate students, who will conduct research on topics related to 5G and Beyond, will be able to use research facilities in the infrastructure established within the 5G Valley, and they will be supported by a competitive scholarship.
