Barbaros Çetin Receives Mustafa Parlar Award
Asst. Prof. Barbaros Çetin of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is among the recipients of the METU Prof. Dr. Mustafa Parlar Foundation Research Incentive Award. Dr. Çetin’s research focuses on electrokinetic transport and particle manipulation in lab-on-a-chip devices for biomedical applications, and modeling of and experimentation on flat-grooved heat pipes.
Every year, the Middle East Technical University Parlar Foundation recognizes the achievements of scientists and scholars from a variety of fields for their exceptional research productivity, in honor of the late METU professor Mustafa Parlar.
