CS students won the algorithmic challenge of Credit Suisse

Computer Engineering  students,  Berker Şenol, Figali Taho, Gökhan Şimsek and Mert Aytöre won the algorithmic challenge of Credit Suisse at Lauzhack 2017. The team, called “Find the Fraud”, succeeded to build in-depth analysis algorithms for detecting financial crime patterns and to present the data in informative and user-friendly way.

LauzHack is a student-run hackathon at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Hackathons are creativity marathons, where attendees work in teams to create something exciting in a short time. Over 300 like-minded students hacked together in the events organized during the of weekend of Nov 11, 12, 2017. LauzHack is organized by CLIC, the EPFL Computer & Communication Sciences students’ association.
